- Purchase your first Transnet
Long Distance Card at your local Canadian Truck-Stop.
- Refer to the back of your Transnet Card:
- Scratch the 'AUTHORIZATION CODE'
- Follow the brief and easy "Account Activation:
New Customers" instructions.
- Using your cellular phone, dial the easy "Account
Activation: New Customers"
(1-866-686-1470) phone number.
- Follow the voice prompts, and in just seconds your
cellular phone is Activated on your Transnet Card Account.
- The automated system will provide you with a PIN.
Be sure to record the PIN in the space provided on the
Card back. For your convenience, and ease of use, your PIN will
always remain the same when you recharge your Card.
- This process will automatically assign your cellular
phone number, to your Transnet Card, as your Primary (or main)
phone number.
It's that easy to Activate your Transnet Card Account.
It is important to note that multiple Cards can be
purchased, at one time, and can be used to Recharge your Card Account
balance, to the dollar value you require, all at one convenient
time! Handy for those who will be on extensive travels, away from
their home region, and will require more long distance calling.
Note:
Transnet Long Distance Cards work with your existing cellular plan,
on any cellular network, and on any landline telephone (business
phone, phonebooth, hotel room phones, friends and family phones
etc
)
Every time you use your Transnet Card, you will hear
automatic announcements about your "current dollar account
balance" and the "time remaining" - each time you
make a call. You will always know when to Recharge your Card Account
and how many minutes you have during your call to the Domestic or
International destination you just dialed.
At the end of each call press # to initiate
another call, or hang up.
